ZayedMD collects only the information needed to operate this publication,
respond to professional inquiries, deliver the Clinical Briefing, secure the
site, and measure content performance. Do not submit protected health
information, emergency requests, or requests for personal medical advice.
Information we collect
- Newsletter data: Beehiiv processes the email address,
consent details, and engagement information you provide through its embedded
signup form. - Inquiry data: the contact form stores your name, email,
subject, message, and receipt time as a private WordPress record. - Usage data: Google Analytics 4 may process page, device,
browser, approximate-location, and referral information, subject to
applicable consent requirements. - Advertising data: Google AdSense may process identifiers,
device information, and interactions when advertising is enabled and the
required consent controls are active. - Security data: hosting and security systems may retain IP,
request, and error logs needed to protect and troubleshoot the site.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to inquiries, deliver and improve the
newsletter, understand which content is useful, maintain site security, and
measure advertising only after the applicable safeguards are enabled. We do
not sell personal information or build advertising audiences from a reader’s
medical condition, treatment, or other sensitive health information.
Services that process data
WordPress and the site’s hosting providers support site operation and
private inquiry storage. Beehiiv manages newsletter subscriptions and
unsubscribe requests. Google Analytics 4 measures site use. Google AdSense may
serve and measure advertising after account, placement, and consent gates
pass. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy controls.
Cookies and consent
Essential technologies support site security and operation. Analytics and
advertising technologies may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar
identifiers. Display advertising remains gated while a Google-certified
consent message is completed. Where consent is legally required, optional
advertising storage must not be activated without the required choice.
Retention
Private WordPress inquiries are deleted after 24 months. Unconfirmed
first-party subscription records are deleted after 30 days. Beehiiv retains a
confirmed newsletter record until you unsubscribe or request deletion,
subject to its legal and security obligations. Hosting and analytics providers
apply their configured retention periods.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe through any Clinical Briefing email, manage browser
cookies, use any displayed privacy-choice control, or ask ZayedMD to export or
erase information you submitted directly. To make a privacy request, use the
contact form. Identity verification may be required
before a request is completed.
